Fourteen-year-old Helona Chubbuck stepped off of the bellows.
“Here,” she said to Sherry, “You do it for a while.”
Sherry jumped on it, bouncing up and down, giggling. The inflatable kayak hissed in rhythm.
“Do they make kayaks for three people?” Sherry managed between breaths. “Maybe I could bring Danny next time.”
