Carol Holbrook woke up in a specimen cage again, but still in her uniform. The last thing she remembered was arguing with Doctor Thadfield about the specimens.
“They need better accommodations,” she’d said. “You can’t treat humans this way.”
“What, way?” He’d replied. “They are mine to treat any way I like, and so are you.”
Then he’d shot her. He hadn’t even ordered a robotic sentry to do it.
She looked around and saw Lurch standing near her cage.
“Lurch, let me out of here.”
