The Goultarans send an fleet to a remote Human outpost, just to say hello.

“Sir, a Goultaran heavy cruiser and three destroyers have entered orbit above us.”

Colonel Strouse sat up in bed, suddenly wide awake, and activated his console. Sure enough, sensors showed one of the Goultaran’s five functioning heavy cruisers, picketed by three of their Girfinni-class destroyers.

“There goes the neighborhood. Have they said what they want yet?”
