A llama bleated from somewhere in the trees. Sitka and Galena perked their ears and bleated in return.

Wren looked up from cleaning up after dinner.

Another bleat rang out, and the llamas replied again.

“Maybe it’s a male calling out to these two females,” Wren grinned. “I'll go see if I can catch him. You two wait here.”
