Captain Trunketh meets the aliens who will try and help her get home.

“Do you need assistance?”

“No, thank you.”

Captain Trunketh leaned on the armrests of her wheelchair, kicked the foot supports out of the way, and attempted to stand but couldn’t.

“Your waist restraint...”

“Okay, okay. " She waved her hand to dismiss the alien nurse, released her seatbelt, and slowly stood on shaking legs.
