Season 1 Episode 22: First Contact--Second Attempt

An old alien woman explains Elizabeth Trunketh's situation to her.

Captain Elizabeth Trunketh squinted for a moment in the well-lit hospital room.

“Welcome back,” said a voice next to her.

She lifted her left fist and spun her head to the right to face her target. The alien sitting by her bed appeared to be the same race as the person who’d tried to kill her but had long, gray hair, whereas the first alien's hair had been dark and short. Another alien stood at the door with some weapon, and somehow, Elizabeth could tell that he was male and that the one at her bedside was female. The woman sat calm and still with her hands folded in her lap.

“Please be calm and don’t strike me,” she said.
