Gary, Bobby, Maria, Helona, Carl, and Sherry return to the escape pod in the desert for provisions that were left behind, and discover an easier way to carry them.

“These game trails really are handy,” said Gary Smith.

“Yeah, those bald llama things seem to like hanging out here a lot, making all these trails near the river for us to follow so we don’t have to carry so much water,” said Bobby Staford.

“You keep saying that,” said Maria Diaz, shifting the straps on her shoulders. “You realize we heard you the first fifty times already, right?”
